Revoke or remove
A team owner can revoke a member’s access or remove the member from the team. Revoked access can be restored later; removing takes the person out of the team. Either way, they can no longer open the team’s shared vaults.
What PineKey shows you next
Right after the change, PineKey shows which shared vaults the person could open, with a reminder: removing access stops new downloads, it does not undo what they already saw or copied. Change the passwords in those vaults, and review any shared account they knew.
A device that is offline cannot receive the change at once, and secrets that were already copied cannot be called back. That is why the list is there.
Personal vaults stay personal
Each person’s private vault is their own. Leaving a team does not hand it to the team, and the team’s shared vaults stay with the team.
Before anyone leaves
Two habits keep the list short and complete. Keep the team’s passwords in shared vaults, not in personal vaults, mails or chats, so the list covers them. And give each shared vault only to the people who need it, so a person who leaves could open as little as possible.
In short
- Revoke or remove a member in one place
- PineKey lists the shared vaults they could open
- Change those passwords: removing access does not undo what was seen or copied
- Personal vaults stay with their owner
